Jackie Palmer

Jackie has over a decade of work experience in the area of organisational development. Having spent a short period of time working in London, Jackie realised that she has a passion for developing people in relation to business strategy. This led her to study psychology, organisational psychology and coaching.

Jackie has headed up the HR department for GTASA a local travel company, Operations for a global Internship company called Connect-123, and most recently worked for Africa’s most successful EDTech startup, GetSmarter, where she held a senior leadership position as the head of the Student Support and Coaching function. Jackie was hired by GetSmarter to lead the change management of an administrative function and transform it into GetSmarter’s differentiating team of Coaches.

Over the years Jackie has also spent time facilitating and coaching for BATeam and Aspiral Coaching. Clients have included Sanlam, Governmental departments, Balltron, Vodacom, Nashua, IMQS, DStv, RAPCAN and HVZ, amongst others. Jackie believes that entrepreneurship is at the heart of Africa’s growth and is driven to assist growing companies with strategic direction and leadership development to drive organisational and individual success.

Roland Cox

Roland has been coaching for twelve years with his earlier experience focused on Career Coaching, and has assisted around 350 people in this area. While he still works with career challenges and welcomes coaching around transition and identity, his current core business is in Executive, Leadership & Team coaching across all organisational levels.

Roland has worked in public & private sectors in ICT, manufacturing, tourism, media, finance, NGOs & education – from SMMEs to multinationals. He has delivered over 2500 hours of coaching and over 800 hours of assessment feedback. Roland has coached at Executive level at DStv, Juta, Nashua, Old Mutual, BAT, Grundfos & RAPCAN amongst others and he is also an associate of all three major coaching schools in Cape Town.

Roland also holds the Wellness portfolio on the board of Philisa Abafazi Bethu (Heal Our Women), an NPO which supports vulnerable children, women and the elderly in Lavender Hill.

Tim has over two decades of work experience. The first decade commenced in leading corporate brands and general management starting at Johnson and Johnson through Pfizer with time at Morrisons and Hilton International in the UK, Nielsen an I&J along the way. The second decade saw him building and exiting through sale a leading Pan African research organisation (now IRI Africa), having taken it from startup to corporate integration and everything in between. It was through this collective passage of experiences that his real purpose around making a organisational contribution has emerged – to work with leaders and their teams to support and drive their culture, strategy and change initiatives to unloch their greater potential.

In 2011, Tim founded navigate as the vehicle to support these endevours adding a range of strategy, innovation and culture tools to his University of the World offering. Based on this and his significant level of lived experience, he has been fortunate to have been engaged to add value to the leadership work of a range of leading South African and Global blue chip organisations as well as a selection of smaller owner managed businesses.
